9: 1932 4.o Centenário da colonização do Brasil1.
Decreto No. 21.358 de 4 de maio 1932 autorizou a cunhagem de uma série moedas de prata, cobre-alumínio e cupro-níquel para comemorar o 4.º centenário da colonização do Brasil. As moedas têm imagens com assuntos do descobrimento e da colonização do Brasil. A moeda de 100 réis tem um imagen dum Indio. A moeda de 200 réis um Barco da força naval Portugesa. A moeda de 400 réis mostra uma mapa do Brasil e o meridiano de Tordesilhas (descobrimento do Brasil). As moedas de 500, 1000 e 2000 réis têm imagens de pessoas importantes da epoca da colonização como Joao Ramalho ,  Martim Afonso de Sousa e Joao III rei de Portugal.

Decreet Nr. 21.358 van 4 mei 1932 autoriseerde de aanmuntung van een serie munten van zilver, aluminium-brons en koper-nikkel om het begin van de kolonisatie van Brazilië te herdenken. De munten hebben afbeeldingen met onderwerpen uit de geschiedenis van de ontdekking en kolonisatie van het land. De munt van 100 réis heeft de afbeelding van een indiaan. De munt van 200 réis een Portugees schip. De munt van 400 réis toont een kaart van Brazilië met daar op aangegeven de meridiaan van Tordesilhas en het deel van Brazilië van waaruit de kolonisatie begon. De munten van 500, 1000 en 2000 réis hebben afbeeldingen van personen die een rol speelden tijdens de kolonisatie van Brazilië zoals Joao Ramalho ,  Martim Afonso de Sousa en Joao III koning van Portugal.

Decree Nr. 21.358 of mai 4, 1932 autorized the coinage of a series of coins made of silver, aluminum-bronze and copper nickle to comemorate the colonization of Brazil. The coins have images that relate to the history of the colonization and discovery of Brazil. The coin of 100 réis has the image of an indian. The coin of 200 réis a Portugues ship. The coin of 400 réis shows a map of Brazil with the meridian of Tordesilhas and the part of Brazil from where the colonization began. The coins of 500, 1000 and 2000 réis have images of important persons during the time of the colonization, Joao Ramalho ,  Martim Afonso de Sousa and Joao III king of Portugal.

100 réis koper-nikkel (75% koper en 25% nikkel), gewicht 5,00 gr.

Vz: Naakte buste van een indiaan met hoofdtooi gemaakt van veren. Tekst: 400 jaar kolonisatie van Brazilië 1532 - 1932. Onder het jaartal 1532 de initialen LC van de graveur Leopoldo Alves Campos.
Kz: De waarde 100 RÉIS onder indiaanse uitrusting stukken. Aan de linkerkant van de lans de initialen WT van de graveur Walter Rodriques Toledo.
