Esta moeda é uma falsa da epoca, feita como as moedas de X réis da casa da moeda da Bahia. As letras tem formatos diferentes e o texto no anverso esta dislocado. O valor X e a data tambem parecem dislocados. A moeda foi descoberta como falsa e recebeu uma corte para evitar circular de novo.

Deze munt is een vervalsing naar het voorbeeld van de munten van X réis zoals deze werden geslagen in het munthuis van Bahia te Salvador. De letters zijn van verschillend formaat en de tekst op de voorzijde is deels weggevallen. Het waarde cijfer X en de datum daaronder zijn scheef geplaatst ten opzichte van elkaar. De munt is als vals exemplaar ontdekt en is geknipt om hem ongeschikt te maken voor verdere circulatie.

This coin is an ancient fake. The example for this coin was the coin of X réis 1815 from the Bahia mint in Salvador. The letters have different sizes and the text on the obverse is dislocated as are the crown, the value X réis and the date. The coin was detected as a fake and received a cut to prevent further circulation of the coin.
